Jacob Minevich
Jacob Minevich supervises R.I.M. Porter Novelli’s corporate affairs practice in Moscow, responsible for corporate reputation programs, financial communications, thought leadership and crisis management. He has more than 10 years experience in communications consulting
Jacob possesses extensive experience in counseling organizations in the financial sector and is responsible for programs for TRUST Investment and National Banks, Kapital Finance Group, Baring Vostok Capital Partners and First Republic Bank among others. He has also counseled technology, business to business and consumer brands such as Henkel, S7 Airlines, 3COM, Toyota, Dow and PricewaterhouseCoopers. His crisis management work includes programs for Oral-B, Wrigleys and Sladko Confectionary. His public affairs experience includes Delegation of the European Commission to Russia, Ministry of Industry and Energy of Russia, My Choice non-governmental program, etc. Prior to joining R.I.M., Jacob was account manager at Rakours PR, coordinating projects for IT, food and beverage companies. He began his career in communications as marketing manager for the Moscow Development Institute, handling marketing programs, research and analysis and event management, as well as coordinating with the institute’s international partners, such as IBM and Microsoft. Jacob is a graduate of Moscow State University of Management with a degree in Public Relations, and obtained a doctorate in sociology from the Moscow University of Humanitarian Sciences, where he also teaches as associate professor in the Department of Sociology. He is a published author of academic papers and was the winner of a presidential grant for young scientists in 2005. |
