On June 3 in the Ritz-Carlton in Moscow, a press-lunch was held by the company ORANTA Strakhovaniye (Insurance, in English), organized by R.I.M Porter Novelli. The event, which was organized to publicize the financial results of both the financial-insurance group EUREKO (Netherlands) for 2009, and of the company ORANTA Strakhovaniye for the first quarter of 2010, was attended by representatives of leading business and specialized publications and informational agencies.

During the meeting with journalists, the management of the company – first deputy general director Vladimir Chernikov, board of directors member Yaroslavl Vodnitsky, and director for business development of EUREKO BV Dominic Kozakevich – detailed the further strategy for the development of the company ORANTA Strakhovaniye, which joined the EUREKO group in 2008, and the prospects for development of the insurance business in general.

The main themes discussed were plans for complex investments into the infrastructure of ORANTA Strakhovaniye, the “perestroika” (rebuilding) of the business, developing a regional network, and, in a pioneering move in the Russian insurance market, pilot projects of the company.
